A two-tailed paired sample t-test values of P for these fractions are, P < 0.0001 for P. falciparum versus A. thaliana; P < 0.0001 for P. falciparum versus S. cerevisiae; and, P = 0.001 for P. falciparum versus D. melanogaster. ‘P’ stands for polar residues substituted to, in the organism, for charged or hydrophobic residues.
