HO-1 mRNA expression induced by insulin is not prevented by antioxidant. BRPC were treated with insulin (100 nm) for 3 h with or without N-acethyl cysteine (20 mm). HO-1 mRNA expression was measured by RT-PCR analyses and normalized by 18 S expression.
