Plants were grown in normal air, and rosette leaves were analyzed at developmental stage 5.1 (Boyes et al., 2001). Mean values ± sd from three measurements each with four different plants per line (n = 12) are shown. Activity significantly different from the wild type (* P < 0.05, ** P < 0.01) and activity significantly different between hpr1-1 and the double mutant (⁺ P < 0.05, ⁺⁺ P < 0.01) are indicated.
