Cardiovascular responses to activation of chemically sensitive afferent fibers in WKY and SHR animals. Administration of graded doses of capsaicin into the arterial supply of hindlimb skeletal muscle induced increases in MAP that were significantly greater in SHR compared with WKY rats.
