Analysis of chloroplast chaperone complexes by crosslinking. Chlamydomonas total proteins from about 1.5 × 107 cells were subjected to crosslinking with 4 mm DSP, separated on a 4% to 15% nonreducing SDS-PAGE, transferred to nitrocellulose, and analyzed by immunoblotting. The positions of monomers (M) and dimers (D) potentially formed by the (co)chaperones are indicated.
