Solid and dashed Y error bars denote interquartile ranges for those with and without recurrent atrial fibrillation, respectively. Although the median CRP level declined in those without recurrent atrial fibrillation, the p value of 0.050 represents the overall increase in CRP (as demonstrated by the interquartile range).
