a

Glioma cells (1 × 106 cells) were implanted intracranially into nude mice. Mice were killed when they were moribund or on day 90. Brains were harvested, and tumor formation was determined by histology.

b

Incidence: number of mice with tumor/number of mice injected.

c

The survival time for brain tumor-free animal was recorded as 90 days.
