Table 3. Morphometric component variables predict cancer outcomes.

The relative cancer outcome predictive value of component variables VPE, SDDN, OSD, and EPITHIC is greatest for the architectural parameter Volume Percent Epithelium (VPE). The cytologic variable SDDN, a measure of nuclear pleomorphism, assumes significance in prediction of deep myoinvasive outcomes. Probabilities reflect 2-group t-tests. Tabular values are shown as Mean (SD).
