Th-1 and Th-2 cytokine secretion is altered in GPAT-1 KO mice. Splenic T-lymphocytes, 2 × 106 from each spleen, from GPAT-1+/+ (open bar), GPAT-1+/− (shaded bar), and GPAT-1−/− (solid bar) mice were stimulated with anti-CD3 and anti-CD28 or PMA plus ionomycin for 20 h. Culture supernatants were collected and interleukin-2 (IL-2), interferon-γ (IFN-γ), interleukin-4 (IL-4), and interleukin-10 (IL-10) were quantitated by ELISA kits as described in materials and methods.
