BPB, belt positioning booster; FFCR, forward facing child restraints

*For 93 children (5% of rear-seated children), primarily sitting in the middle rear seat, restraint status could not be observed. These children may have been wearing lap belts, and hence have been omitted from the figures rather than being grouped with the unrestrained children.

†Top-tethered FFCR suitable for children of 8–18 kgs (18–40 lbs) and BPB seats could not be distinguished from each other and were grouped together.
