Incubation periods required for complete degradation of CGP at different concentrations (10 to 50 g liter⁻¹) by crude CphE_al powder applied at different concentrations (1 to 10 g liter⁻¹). The reaction tubes were incubated at 30°C in a tube rotator rotating at 3 rpm. Suspensions with a CGP concentration of 50 g liter⁻¹ could be degraded within 10 h in the presence of 2 g liter⁻¹ crude CphE_al powder. Each value represents a mean time period measured for two parallel experimental repetitions, with an estimated standard deviation maximum of 10%.
