IFN-γ production in spleen cells from mice immunized with PBS, U-Omp16 plus aluminum hydroxide (Al), L-Omp16 plus aluminum hydroxide, U-Omp19 plus aluminum hydroxide, L-Omp19 plus aluminum hydroxide, or U-Omp19 plus IFA. Spleen cells were cultured for 72 h as described in the legend of Fig. 3. Each sample was assayed in duplicate wells. IFN-γ in these culture supernatants was measured by sandwich ELISA. Spontaneous (unstimulated) cytokine levels have been subtracted. Data represent the mean ± standard error of the mean of each group of five mice and are representative of two separate experiments.
