A, Neonatal cardiomyocytes infected with Ad.β-Gal or Ad.Retn were incubated for 24 hours in serum-free media. Western blotting was prepared as described in Materials and Methods. The blots were probed with serine-636/IRS-1 phospho antibody (p-IRS-1) and reprobed with antibody against total IRS-1 protein (T-IRS-1). B. Quantification of serine phosphorylation of IRS-1.
