Competitive ELISA using modified Tyrs and HBAs. The rabbit antiserum was preincubated with various concentrations of each modified Tyr or modified HBA. Each well was coated with 500 ng/well of brominated BSA and incubated with 3,000-fold-diluted antiserum. The results are expressed as the mean ± standard deviation (n = 3). Statistical analysis of the differences was performed by two-way ANOVA. Significant main effects of the concentration of competitor (p<0.001) and the kind of competitor (p<0.001) and interactive effect between the concentration of competitor and the kind of competitor (p<0.001) are shown.
