Induction of OsGLP genes after inoculation with M. oryzae. Three-week-old wild-type Kitaake plants were inoculated with M. oryzae isolate Che86061 (10⁵ spores mL⁻¹), and leaves were sampled for RNA at 12, 24, and 48 h after inoculation (x axis). Plants at time 0 were not inoculated. Expression of selected OsGLP genes was screened by RT-PCR, and gel band intensities were quantified and normalized against the reference gene, EF1-α (y axis; relative band intensities are in arbitrary units). Time point means (n = 3 biological repetitions) for each gene were compared with SAS and Proc GLM using the lsd method with a Student-Newman-Keuls test.
