In the top row, [3H]IAA was applied between the cotyledons and after 5 h the seedlings were cut in 5-mm segments for radioactivity measurements. In the bottom row, total radiolabeled [3H]IAA was transported to roots of wild-type (WT) and Aucsia-silenced tomato seedlings. The values are sums of the radioactivity measured in the segments located between 3 and 6 cm from the [3H]IAA application point. B, 1-NPA sensitivity of tomato seedlings.
