Enhanced hypothermic response induced in VGV mice by 8-OH-DPAT. Time course effects of 8-OH-DPAT (1 mg/kg, s.c.) on the decrease of body temperature in VGV and wild-type (A) or INI and wild-type mice (B) are shown. Temperature values plotted are means ± SEM of 6–7 mice for VGV and 8–10 mice for INI. Significant difference between VGV and wild-type mice treated with 8-OH-DPAT was noted (**<0.01; ***<0.001).
