In vitro recall experiment of double transgenic mice after EAE induction. At the end of the EAE experiment 2 indicated in Table 2 at day 106 post-immunization, splenocytes of individual animals were tested for their in vitro reactivity against MBP Ac1-10 (4Y). Data for the individual mice are presented with their respective EAE score at the time of killing indicated in the graph legend. Diseased double transgenic $\mathrm{Tg}4\times {\mathrm{MBP}-\mathrm{IA}}_{39}^{\mathrm{u}}$ mice display a slightly enhanced reactivity compared to non-treated double transgenic animals but not a general loss of tolerance.
