Low-Na diet–induced NF-κB activation is dependent on MR in rat CCD. Isolated CCD were microdissected from rats under normal- or low-Na diet treated or not with spironolactone (Spiro). SGK1, IκBα, IL-6, PAI-1, or IL-1β mRNA was detected by RT-PCR. Results are expressed as fold of values obtained in CCD from rats under normal-Na diet set to 1.
