RNA is exported through the TAP/NXF1 pathway during HSV-1 infection. HeLa cells were transfected with plasmids encoding GFP, GFP-TAP, or GFP-TAPΔC. Twenty-four hours later, cells were infected with wild-type HSV-1 for 8 h.
