HVS C488 ORF73 had a larger glycine- and glutamic acid-containing domain than did HVS A11 ORF73. The nuclear localization signals in the N- and C-terminal domains of these two molecules are conserved. Distinct proline-rich, acidic, and leucine zipper domains that were seen in KSHV LANA were not detected in the HVS ORF73 secondary structure by motif searches.
