E11.5 AGM cells from Lnk+/− and Lnk−/− littermates were plated on gelatin-coated 24-well plates at a density of 1.5 × 105 per well with cytokines as described above. The proliferation rates of the adherent cells in the Lnk−/− and Lnk+/− cultures were comparable. After 7 days of culture, nonadherent cells were generated and counted.
