Over a period of 90 minutes, the blood glucose level of rats decreased to −262 ± 40 mg/dl at 90 minutes for ultrasound mediated transdermal insulin delivery (▪) while there was less than 32 mg/dl change for both 0.15 U/kg (●) and 0.20 U/kg (▴) injection groups. For the 0.25 U/kg (♦) injection group, the glucose level decreased to and −190 ± 96 mg/dl at 90 minutes.
