Effects of cytokine pre-treatment on IL-13-induced eotaxin release. HASM were pre-treated with appropriate vehicle (veh), IL-13 (5 ng/ml) or IFN-γ (10 ng/ml) for 24 hours followed by 24 hours stimulation with vehicle or IL-13 (5 ng/ml). Eotaxin levels in cell culture supernatants were assessed by ELISA.
