Four randomly selected individual tumor samples from each group (1-4, control; 5-8, SB-100), from the study detailed in Figure 1, were homogenized and lysates were subjected to western blot analysis as described in “Materials and methods”. Membranes were probed for phosphorylated and total levels of STAT1, STAT3 and STAT5 as shown in the Figure. Same membranes were stripped and re-probed for β-actin as loading control and a representative blot is shown. SB-100, silibinin 100 mg/kg dose.
