Before treatment with topical eyedrops, goblet cell densities (GCD) were similar between eyes. After assigned treatments (topical chondroitin sulfate with sodium hyaluronate (CS-HA) for right eyes and topical cyclosporine (CsA) for left eyes), there was a significant GCD increase in both eyes.
