COS-7 cells were transfected with each intracellular domain construct from AC6 then were fixed in 2% paraformaldehyde, washed and permeablized (see Methods). Cells were then incubated with an anti-His TRITC-conjugated antibody to detect the expressed proteins (red) and a caveolin-1 monoclonal antibody (followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody, green) before being analyzed by confocal microscopy. Ab control (top, left) shows mock-transfected cell incubated with anti-His TRITC antibody. Images are representative of 3 experiments.
