PKD is phosphorylated in C10 lung epithelial cells via a PKCδ-dependent pathway. Cells were homogenized and Western blot analyses were performed using antibodies to PKCδ, p-PKD and total PKD as described in Materials and Methods. A and B: Time course study. Blot in (A) was probed with an antibody to β-Actin to verify equal amounts of protein loaded in lanes. C and D: Use of siPKD construct. TPA (100 ng/ml) was used as a positive control for p-PKD.
