Statistical analysis was performed using two-way ANOVA with the Bonferroni post hoc test using the ΔCt values for genotype effects (G), exercise effects (E), and G × E interactions. Genes found to possess statistical significance include NPY (G×E: F_1,17=8.63, P=0.009), AGRP (G: F_1,18=11.54, P=0.003), POMC (G: F_1,19=22.04, P=0.002; E: F_1,19=4.68, P=0.04), CART (G: F_1,18=21.6, P=0.0002), orexin (E: F_1,18=10.63, P=0.004), MC3R (E: F_1,19=12.69, P=0.002), and the NPY-Y1R (G: F_1,17=6.87, P=0.01).
