Signal of host-specificity derived from logistic regression analysis at various levels of phylogenetic organization within the parasite genera Haemoproteus and Plasmodium. Values indicate the genetic distance beyond which two sampled parasites lineages have less than a 50% chance of deriving from the same host species or same host family. Larger values are indicative of a longer history of association between hosts and parasites.
