Sodium butyrate improves epithelial characteristics in VHL-defective RCC4 and RCC10 cells. VHL-defective RCC4 (A) and RCC10 cells (B) were grown to confluence and treated for 3 d with the indicated doses of sodium butyrate, before phase-contrast imaging and immunofluorescence labeling, or immunoblotting.
