Note. IPV = intimate partner violence. Model 4 included all risk and demographic variables listed in Table 1 along with 2 additional variables: birth city and marital status at birth. However, only those maternal, partner, and household characteristics that were statistically significant at P ≤ .01 for at least 1 of the 2 child maltreatment variables in this table are presented. The omnibus χ2 test was used to test for any differences in outcome because of ethnicity, education, or relationship status.
