Structural comparison of SlTPR1 and TPR proteins. (A) Comparison of SlTPR1 with other TPR proteins. The structures were produced in SMART programme (Simple Modular Architecture Research Tool). The structures are drawn approximately to scale and individual TPR, FKBP_C (FK506-binding protein), BTB (Bric-a-brac, Tramtrack, Broad-complex), SEL1-like repeats, Transmembrane, and PP2Ac (Protein phosphatase 2A homologues, catalytic domain) domains are shown. (B) Phylogenetic analysis using the protein sequences of SlTPR1, OsTPR1 (AAP54347), TTC1 (NM_003314), and Arabidopsis AtTPR1 (At4g30480), ETO1 (At3g52770), SPY (At3g11540), TTL1 (At1g53300), PP5 (A22g42810), ROF1 (At3g25230), and TWD1 (At3g21640) indicating that SlTPR1, AtTPR1, and OsTPR1 are most closely related to human TTC1.
