Fetal and adolescent ethanol exposures, combined, leads to altered behavioral responses in adult females. Mean composite reflexive sniffing index values (± sem) for all adult observer animals that received prenatal ethanol exposure as a function of sex and adolescent treatment. Relative to prenatal experience alone, subsequent ethanol re-exposure in adolescence altered the response to ethanol odor in adult females.
