CspWT overexpression increases the association of Hsc70/Hsp70 with CFTR. A, HEK293 cells were co-transfected with CFTR and CspWT, CspH43Q, or Sar1-GTP plasmid DNA. Cell lysates were prepared on the second day after transfection, and CFTR was co-immunoprecipitated. The immunoprecipitated material was analyzed by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotting with mouse antibody that recognizes both Hsc70 and Hsp70 (upper panel) or with mouse anti-CFTR (lower panel).
