U87-MG human malignant glioma cells (1×10⁵ cells/10 µL per mouse brain) were stereotactically implanted into the right striatum of athymic mice (nu/nu). 6 and 10 days after tumor implantation, controls (saline or Ad-Ψ5) or Ad-stTRAIL were delivered intra-tumorally.
