Isotropic (a) and aligned fibrous mats (b) were used as templates for cellular organization. The alignment of the (c) fibers and (d) cells was quantified with respect to a reference line and is represented as the angle from the reference line ± 90°. (e) Statistical analysis of fiber and cell alignment was done via a Levene's tests for homogeneity of variance and subsequent tests. Here the p-values are shown and significant differences (p≤0.01) are indicated by an asterisk.
