Percent co-localization of various immunocytochemical markers with PKD2L1 in circumvallate taste buds. Cells in 15 taste buds were counted. Taste cells immunoreactive for each marker were identified and then checked for immunoreactivity for the PKD2L1. Cells were scored as positive if they exhibited obvious fluorescence above background levels of reactivity.
