Strips A and B, immune sera from two bacterin recipients collected immediately prior to tick challenge (strips A1 and A2) or 90 days after tick challenge (strips B1 and B2); strips C1 and C2, immune sera from two placebo recipients collected 90 days after tick challenge. Monoclonal anti-OspA and anti-OspC antibodies were run concurrently to identify their locations on the strips.
