DIM reduces TCDD-induced COX-2 mRNA expression. Levels of COX-2 mRNA were measured by qPCR and normalized against 18S ribosomal RNA following treatment of MCF-7 cells for 1.5 h with TCDD (100 nmol/L) alone or in combination with DIM (5, 10, and 20 μmol/L).
