A) Apocynin (400μM) decreases 2-HE levels in LPS-treated FPAEC incubated in normoxia: Intracellular levels of 2-HE were quantified in FPAEC by HPLC after n-Butanol extraction. 2-HE levels decreased by almost 60% when LPS treated FPAEC were pre-treated with apocynin (0.15 vs. 0.06 nmol 2-HE/mg protein).
