Guidelines for urgent referral for suspected urological cancer

  • Macroscopic haematuria

  • Microscopic haematuria in patients over 50 years and those at high risk

  • Any swelling in the body of the testis

  • Palpable renal masses

  • Solid renal masses found on imaging

  • A high PSA (> 20 ng/ml) in men with a clinically malignant prostate or bone pain

  • An elevated age-specific PSA in men with a 10-year life expectancy

  • Any suspected penile cancer
