Biofilms were cultured in the absence or presence of dispersin B. Percentages of flowthrough volume were calculated as follows: (concentration of the agent that flowed through the biofilm/concentration of the agent that flowed through a blank filter device) × 100. The solutes tested were CPC, vancomycin (VAN), tetracycline (TET), BKC, Allura red dye (RED 40), and rifampin (RIF). Values show means and ranges of the results obtained with duplicate filter devices.
