Transfected cell numbers by substrate-mediated delivery. Lipoplexes with plasmid encoding for GFP were incubated on substrates with quantities of (A) 0.5 μg and (B)2 μg for 2 h. Bolus delivery used equivalent amounts of DNA that were immobilized to the substrate: (A) 0.25 μg/cm2 and (B) 0.1 μg/cm2.
