Paired regions are labeled P1, P2, etc., in order of their appearance from the 5′-end in the full-size RNA. Inter-helical joining regions are named according to the names of the paired regions that they connect; e.g., J3/4 stands for nucleotides joining P3 and P4. Loops are labeled according to the names of the helices that they cap; e.g., L8 caps helix P8.
