Tissue content of dopamine (DA), noradrenaline, (NE), and serotonin, (5-HT) and their metabolites 3-methoxytyramine (3-MT), homovanillic acid (HVA), normetanephrine (NM) and 5-hydroxy indolacetic acid (HIAA) were analyzed by HPLC in the hypothalamus (A), frontal cortex (B), and hippocampus (C) of Gpr3+/+ (opens bars) and Gpr3−/− mice (black bars). The results are expressed in pmol/mg protein. Stars indicate significant differences between Gpr3+/+ and Gpr3−/− mice calculated by the Student t-test (One star p<0.05, two stars p<0.01, three stars p<0.001, Gpr3−/− n = 5; Gpr3+/+ n = 6).
