Correlations between congruency (selective attention) and callosal microstructure indexed by fractional anisotropy (FA) and mean diffusivity (MD) of the total corpus callosum (CC) in controls (CTL) and alcoholics (ALC). An alcohol-specific relationship was observed between callosal microstructure and congruency effects evidenced by significantly higher MD-congruency correlations in ALC than CTL for the total CC and its subregions (genu, body, splenium).
