Spermatocytes are double immunolabeled for Aurora-B (green) and MCAK (red), and counterstained with DAPI (blue). The Aurora-B signals at chromocenters (arrowheads) concentrate with ongoing chromosome condensation from late diplotene up to early interkinesis when it then colocalizes with MCAK.
