Three splice variants of the canine RD3 gene are aligned against sequence locations on canine chromosome 7 in the CanFam 2 assembly of the dog genome, and compared to the orthologous human and mouse transcripts. Canine Exon 4 is not present in the CanFam2 assembly, as indicated by the gap from 12,834,236 tp 12,832,685.
