The numbers indicate how often a significant p-value was observed in the four data sets. Here only data are shown which were significantly biased with all four tested thresholds. Green and red colors indicate that the base is significantly over- or under-represented, respectively, in the flanks of methylated CpG sites. As an example, the p-values observed for overrepresentation of flanking nucleotides at methylation levels ≥90% are shown in Text S3.
